I have about 500 rds of experience with a T1 so not a ton. I've only put about 300 through the MRO equipped BLK so far so experience is a bit limited there too.
Between the two, the MRO wins for me hands down. It beats the T1 on price, FOV, ease of manipulation and brightness (lack of decidedly blue tint). Both sights "ghost out" for me with two eyes open.
There is an ever so slight magnification to the MRO that is slightly noticeable at CQB type ranges but completely disappears at any distance greater than a bedroom.
The ONLY thing I like better about the T1 is the way the battery is placed in the sight...but that's a pretty minor concern for me.
I've always been both an Aimpoint and Trijicon (ACOG) fan but Trijicon will now be getting a lot of my RDS business. ---I own 3 sights from the M4 series, a TA31F, a TA33 and an MRO with soon to be 2 more MRO's (chosen in lieu of T2's).
One other honorable mention is the Deltapoint Pro by Leupold. I switched out an M4S on my 10.5" 5.56 Noveske for a DPP and so far that's been awesome as well...I don't really care for the brightness adjustment button but I can live with it. Everything else about that sight screams quality. I was going for maximum weight reduction since that Noveske was HEAVY for an SBR and achieved it quite well.
