Sionics 11.5" reduced gas port barrel http://i.imgur.com/ivu02Ij.jpg http://i.imgur.com/L65sfBC.jpg http://i.imgur.com/WnbWpUN.jpg Love that paintjob. Details on the technique? Just followed this http://www.lightfighter.net/topic/painting-your-carbine-from-the-book-of-pat and cut some stencils from the multi-cam pattern Krylon has on their site. This was the first time trying it and it turned out alright. Aervoe is nice stuff. |

So I've been shooting my 11.5" with trek for about two years suppressed only and built a 12" from a Larue barrel i won. Holy fuck they are loud without a silencer. Even with ear pro and a regular flash hider. Have a sportsmen on the way soon though fix it.

I'll play too. Going to replace the Mk18 RIS with a URX 3.1 eventually and my Mini4 is on a Form 4. Should lighten it up a bit. http://<a href=http://i1068.photobucket.com/albums/u444/EODcrawler/9f1c681d-d74b-4ca6-87dd-637b17cff822_zps18keoug7.jpg</a>" /> View Quote Nice May be worth considering a lightweight barrel like BCM or Faxon at that time too |

love the almost mk18'ish look to this build, great way to build a 11.5 Thanks, It actually started life as a cqbr blockii clone attempt. I gave up the ghost on it though and sold the barrel and RISii and changed it out. honestly, much happier with it now. patiently waiting for BE Meyers to release their MAWL on the civie market and get into NV. I need to get more pics of it |

11.5" is perfect IMO. This is my favorite rifle. Reliable, quiet, and damn accurate to boot. http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y316/righttobeararms8/Gun%20Pics/20150627_152537_RichtoneHDR_zpscxphpcr4.jpg View Quote I like your style sir!! What barrels is everyone using?
I've got an 11.5 project rolling around in my head and I've narrowed it to three, Ballistic Advantage, Sons of Liberty Gun Works, or (what I'm leaning to) Faxon lightweight profile. The advantage to the Faxon it's .625 gas block journal size which matches the .625 SLR adjustable I have on my 16in Predatar barrel. Rifle will be suppressed 100% of the time, with a 'K' sized 5.56 can. |

Guess I have decided already. Wanting to cut weight too because I plan on getting a Razor 1-6 and that thing is a tank.
Anybody using a Faxon barrel? Wondering how well they preform. |
