So I  just got my two stamps in, Now my question, I have a 10.3 Daniel Defense barrel with the mk12 low profile gas block. I want to put on a SLR rifleworks

ION 9.5" Lite Keymod Handguar, and use my Gemtech Trek suppressor.
After mocking up the upper without the rail, It looks like Ill have about 1/16 of clearance for the suppressor to bottom out on the threads of the barrel.

That's kind of cutting it close. Anyone know for sure if this combination  will work or will I have to go to a 9" rail?

For what's it's worth this is my first sbr. Just wanna get it right the first time.

 Lpk
Spikes lower
Daniel Defense 10.3" barrel
Vltor upper   all on hand.
Bcg , gasbuster charging handle and gas tube have been ordered ,

Edit to add, The rail has a inside diameter of 1.3" and my suppressor has an outside diameter of 1.5". I want the rail to come as close as I can get it to the suppressor and still let it mount correctly,
Thanks guys.

You would think they would. Why not ask in the industry forum?

Their 9.7 solo is supposed to be super close to AAC suppressors on a 10.5 barrel. So 9.5 and 10.3

Not the same but maybe the math will help a little bit...

I have a 10.5" barrel with a 9" rail.

The edge of my rail is exactly 1" away from the edge of my suppressor.

So if your barrel is .2" shorter and rail .5" longer, you should still have ~.25" clearance.

Fun fact - every company that makes rails apparently also makes rulers. And since they have to make their own rulers, they don't have any rulers to measure their ruler with. There's so much variation in this that my 9" rail on a 10.5" barrel leaves exactly 1/2" before the suppressor, so the OP could end up with -0.25" clearance.

FWIW, here is my 10.5" Noveske with Centurion Arms CMR rail in 9.5". Plenty of clearance for my Saker.

This guy is sadly right.

Even the 9.5" CMR is actually closer to 9.4"

Not sure if it helps much but I have a 10" SLR rail on a 10.5" BA barrel and with my silencerco MB I have about 1mm of clearance.

Ya, good companies list actual length even if they call it 9.5" or whatever

Rifle is finished and looks great.
First trip to the range,

I only had a few min to function fire the new rifle. I fired a couple of rounds without the suppressor first then ran a full mag with the trek installed.
everything worked fine. It may be a little overgassed with the suppressor installed, but I can address that later. I still want to upgrade a few other things first , such as the grip and buttstock.

Overall I am very happy with my first SBR, and cant wait to build my second.

Thanks for all the replies and photos guys.
