I hope not! I got approved on 1\19 and am freaking out waiting for it to arrive at the dealers.

Yep, all you get is the digital PDF, no hard copy is mailed.

If you efiled and are approved you just print it out.
You won't receive one in the mail.

35 days before you can worry about it. They get 30 days to mail it and ~5 more for transit time. I've received mine as soon as 4 days after approval, but I've also seen them postmarked 31 days after the approved date.

Yep. After the time's up you can fax in a request for a certified copy. It won't have a stamp on it, but it is legal. I did that and my real form arrived with my next batch of form 4's another month later....... Obviously buried on someone's desk at the ATF.

My eFile experience was similar, with similar anxiety until I was set straight.

It's a balance; the warm fuzzy feeling of having an actual stamp versus being able to print that PDF as many times as you want without having to scan it or anything.
