Had a few stripped lowers that I bought from remorseful sellers after they paid way too much during the most recent panic. Anyway I am getting ready to send in for an SBR (my 3rd). Well I picked out the nicest looking one and it is a Spikes tactical with SBR marked before the serial number. My question is this considered part of the serial number?

Absolutely...regardless of what some of the examiners thought in the past.

If it had said SAR or SCR, nobody wouldn't even question it. The SBR is the prefix.

I registered a Spikes lower with an SBR S/N as an SBR as well. It went through with no problem. I figured with a serial number like that, it was meant to be.

I have an "SBR" spikes as well. No issues going through.
