I have a form one that should be in this month on a can, my next step will be an SBR, I don't want to file another form 1 until they have accepted at least one item on the trust.

I have a couple of questions.

Do I need to have the lower in hand before I file the form 1 (to have the serial number?)

Who has the best deal on lowers right now that are guaranteed good... don't want to do the paperwork on a lower that might be slightly out of spec.

I'll have months to think about uppers.

Yes, the serial number will need to be put on the form 1. Since you are technically manufacturing the SBR, I believe you need to own it first.

ETA: as far as lowers, if you are budget minded, check out PSA, if you have the $$ to spend, Colt, Noveske, LMT, I'm sure I'm missing a few. For me however, Aero have always been gtg at a good price.

PSA has been my favorite upper as far as things I've built... that's probably what I will go with.

Seriously build your lower and have it engraved first especially since your waiting.

I've always had great luck with spikes stuff my brother and i got punisher lowers did form 1.....
Had them engraved ..... Mine has a slightly Tight magwell with some pmags
It's not a huge deal as i have a lot of gi mags

Stuff happens with everyone i wouldn't ever do a form 1 again without testing a lower though.
