BCM. I prefer that all my essential function parts (upper, barrel, BCG, lower) come from the same manufacturer.

+1 Check the parts in your BCM lower against a DPMS lower parts kit and get back to us....

ETA: Check out this "sweet" rednecked feed ramp "polishing" job on this factory BCM upper...

I have a Charles Daly and a Spikes (CAK i.e. same small manufactuer that makes Noveskee Forged lowers).

I am submitting a Precision Firearms Billet for my 300BLK one and its an outstanding lower. Just waiting on a Army Annual Training Check to use that for my Lower and another Suppressor (Omega or another SpecWar K)

I am debating on a Gen 1 Aero Precision or a Palmetto State lower for my forth.  Aero has those pictograms and I like the safe/semi or safe/fire better.

I have two Andersons that I am building for my twins due in March.  Will not be SBRd and my wife has an Anderson on her duty rifle at the PD.

I love my Armalite lower (M15A4) since it was my 3 gun lower for a long time but if I need money it seems like I can sell that better than an Aero or Palmetto Dang you lowers!

Wanting a quality Lower to have Form 1 SBR'd to use with every future SBR upper I'd like to buy like 300 Blackout.

With the tax stamp being $200, engraving, and the long wait, I'm willing to pay a bit more for a quality kickass lower. Just wondering what you guys already like and have done for yours.

Aero, Spikes, YHM, QC10, BAD, etc
SBR'er'd and they would be MG's if we could still register those. Damn the Hughes amendment!!

Here is my last SBR 300 blkout build on a Battle arms development billet upper and lower. I love the size and look of this one. Its my favorite build so far.

My first was an SOG Armory lower (made by JD Machine) - I bought it specifically because I wanted my first SBR to have engraving that was distinctive from my other ARs.  I recently SBR'd a QC-10 GSF lower as well.

When shopping, think "in spec."  Odds are, if you buy a reputable brand, it'll be in-spec.  Here's the take away about that: in-spec means that parts will fit and the lower won't wear differently.  Engraving can be trivial - both of mine were engraved by Gray Laser Engraving, and the cost wasn't a burden.  (Plus, Bill Gray is fun to talk with; we chatted while the laser engraved both of my lowers.)

Mine is an old Spike's Tactical lower, back when they got their lowers from Ted's Gusmithing. Long before color filled logos and pictograph selector markings. Been thinking of having my old lower reparked; the finish is a bit worn, but still soldiering on.
