If you don't want to get an adjustable gasblock, there is always the option of purchasing the Baby Govnah, having it drilled out to the same port size as an actual MK18 gas port, and experimenting from there.

Even at the Crane specified port size of .070", you are still talking about approximately a 200 RPM increase in RoF when adding a suppressor as seen in the video below:
No, an adjustable gas block is NOT necessary as clearly seen in my video, my MK18 is also running 100% on full auto while leaving the gas port set to .070.
Going adjustable is about: 1. Performance and 2. Reliability.
1. Improving performance since there is much less recoil when running an optimized gas port size. Much faster to get back on target and less disturbance of the sight picture
2. Increasing reliability since less fouling is coming into the action means the more rounds you can fire before getting too fouled...and if you do get too fouled you can always increase the gas. In the case of a milspec barrel (ported at .070") running milspec ammo means going from a .049 port to .070. In the case of an DD commercial MK18 barrel, you can also go up to .082. So for unsuppressed, you would be able to go from .070 to .082.
