I can dig it.  A 10/22 SBR with a shorter barrel than the stock (i.e. <9" or less) really feels and handles like a different firearm.  That would be a great little woods gun.

Love it!

What barrel length is that?

I've got a 10/22 form 1 submitted and am doing almost the same thing.

Why not.  I have a 4" AR in 22.  Different look but similar idea.  Tons of fun to shoot.

It's a 4 inch barrel. The bipod is the cheap one from ruger. My version of a charger.
I'll add a dovetail filler and spray the barrel with black alumihide. The bipod comes off.

It's how you build a $600 10-22 using the factory barrel and stock.

This is not arf-ceptable.  No parts list followed by numerous photos detailing the process nor a youtube video.

Totally unacceptable.

Damn 11'er

Charger to SBR.  I am going to cut down the LOP on mine by almost 2".  Here is how it sits now.

I'm tempted to take an extra stock and chop it down to a pistol grip.

What did you stain the stock with?  I like the Cherry look.

Leather dye. I'll have to go find the name.

I used English tan. They also carry USMC black that I have used.
