They don't batch paper forms, only eforms (they can see what else you have submitted quickly).

Oh I did. I clearly remember putting "All lawful purposes". I went back and checked my eform and in big red letters it said Purpose for making blank. I have no idea how I missed it.

I had one disapproved so I can understand how that feels, all that waiting! Took them several months to refund me. I resubmit  immediately there are ways to get this fixed quickly. Do some research online and there is some information out there on how.
Mine was disapproved because there was more than one option for 300blk. I figured the more information the better and boy was I wrong.
I believe I had put 300blk should of put 300 not .300 not 300 AAC not 300blk and so on. I have learned that every single thing you send to print or scan copy even when sending them 2 copy's for a form 20 you copy those. Look over it very carefully maybe get someone else to look at it. It's not what you think is correct it's what someone wants and even they don't always agree. It can be very  frustrating at times.

Resubmit it you will have to pay again but they will  eventually refund you for the first one. But yes you can email Ted with the corrections, be nice and don't worry who screwed it up. He should be able to help you, they can get you approved pretty quickly if they see you already went through the wait.

Uh, I don't think it works that way anymore in this post-41f world we're living in.

There's no way to expedite forms now, think they quit doing this early in June. I think there are a few threads about it from a few months ago. If you have to resubmit you will have to follow the new guidelines.

This.

You can't resubmit the eForm, as the Form 1 is no longer available. A month or two before 41F went into effect they stop fast-tracking resubmissions due to volume. They did try to go through an Disapprove as many as they could that had errors, but I'm sure they didn't get them all.

The only option now is to paper file with prints and photos, and get in the back of the line.

Good info this is correct, I forgot about the 41F. So I guess no more fast tracking. I assume for the foreseeable future any mistakes under new rules you may be able to correct info by paper/mail. Similar to how it was done without eform.

I don't think that is even possible. With eforms they can pull up submissions really quick, versus paper forms where they have to dig through stacks on multiple examiner's desk's. Basically if you screw up and get denied from here on out, you must resubmit with a new payment and wait for the denied form's payment to be refunded.

Could be, guess we will see how it goes from now on. My understanding is and I'm not referring to eform that when a mistake was made on paper they denied you and sent it to you. At that point you could correct the mistake and mail it back it to the examiner. I know from my own experances ( recently ) that things could be corrected on original copy's. But I am no expert, I do know they will often work with you to resolve issues.

I assumed the same thing. I even triple checked everything. I have no idea how I missed it. This is no ones fault but my own. I'll chalk it up as first time NFA issues. Within the email, after the reason of disapproval, it clearly states that any resubmitting from this point on will have to abide by post 41 rules. It's rather annoying that after waiting so long it's just something a simple email or phone call could of resolved. Am I sure as swamped as they are that's probably out of the question.
