The trend on NFA is hilariously steep, and it ain't stopping.

Still waiting on a 7/1 efile. It seems like ages ago that people were getting back their 6/15 submissions.

It got very spotty on the 9th or 10th IIRC. I think it went down totally on the 13th.

I could mine mistaken though. Mine was filed on 7/10 or 7/11, my Dealer did it for me and apparently it was a nightmare getting through.

No. You need to email them with your control number to get the draft watermark off. they fix it pretty quick. Go in" ask the experts " and there will be a way to contact them.

Looks like the nice folks at ATF are slowing down on approvals. Calculated throughput for March is about 680 approvals per day. That's down from ~850/day in January.

Grab a current approval control number from someone's post and subtract that from your control number. Take that result and divide it by 680 and that's roughly how many days until yours will get worked.

Also, I've notice on several of these kind of posts, numbers aren't really kept up in sequence. Guys showing their numbers and others saying they are before the approved one with still no approval. I do agree with this being totally ridicules in regards to time, but I think we have to blame 41F. Should be 41FU.

Keep up the good fight brothers. ????

You're making some huge assumptions here...

The first being you have any idea of how those control numbers are distributed, seeing as how there are lots of other forms available for use in the eForms system.

Yup, just  few. I've been tracking the control numbers assigned to submissions since last November and they're pretty consistent between the numerical progression and date sequence. I've also sampled throughput by ATF based on reported approvals by control number and date approved over 15 through 30 day periods, which yield the results reported - including the slowdown of production in the last month.

Hey, if you've go a better way of predicting this, I'm all ears. Post up, because I'm interested in how you might come up with a prediction and what methodology you use to arrive at a result. Make sure you use some actual reported numbers if possible. That helps!

This. When I put for my stamp my wife was almost 3 months pregnant. Since then we've had the kid and he's almost 3 months old now. A life was formed and brought into this world before the ATF could do my paperwork.

Good thing she didn't have to wait on ATF to have the baby. Lololol

Congradulations on the baby. You can check em out of High School when the stamps approved and go shooting.

The trick to getting through on the last days seemed to be having a super fast internet connection. I couldn't finish filling anything out with a 3 mbps or 10 mbps connection but using a 40 mbps connection it worked several different times

My wife was two months pregnant when I filed and my son will be 3 months old next week.... Is there a way to sue for impeding our right to bear arms by lack of speedy processing. I'm sure a lawyer could make it sound better.

I actually called today on a 7/7/16 E-File Form 1, before I found the thread - was surprised F1's were taking what amounts to 9 months, same as my two F4's actually.  Anyway the lady was very nice, said they are generally working on the last week of June now.  Echo'd what we all know the closer to mid July the worse it gets.  But some early July's seem to be coming through at least so we are getting closer. ;).

July 12 may even be in the mail now,  though it appears dates are staggered. I think they will be to post 41P faster than many think.
