So I got my paperwork returned for my SBR. The info in box 3b (applicants name and mailing address) didnt match what I put in 4h (additional description, data that will appear on firearm).

In 3b I have my full first, middle and last name along with my full address. In 4h I put my shortened first name Dan (instead of Daniel) middle initial and my last name. Along with my home town and state.

I talked to the FFL who submitted the form and he was confused as to why it got returned. He didnt think it had to match in each box. I already have the lower engraved with what was in box 4h. Can I change 3b to match what is already on the lower or will it get rejected as its not my full legal name?

Interesting. See I had the FFL enter in all the info and he has done lots of these. Figured he knew what he was doing.

I'm going to call the ATF tomorrow and get a little clarification on this.

I'm  going to call anyway but can I just delete the print in 4h and send it back in?
