I have an AR SBR (5.56) already and would like a complete 300BLK upper to swap onto it when desired.

Looking for:
- Assembled upper with free float rail. With or without BCG and CH is OK
- Will always be fired with a can and always with subsonic ammo
- I was thinking somewhere between 8"-10" barrel length (or so)

Any recommendations from the hive?

haven't got the chance to shoot it yet (skool really gets in the way of life) but I went with the Radial Firearms 8.5" with the Seekins rail and WMD BCG. I also plan to run it suppressed (Octane 9). Hopefully it runs well...

I vote for building it yourself. I just finished a 10.2 noveske barrel, CMT billet upper, fail zero BCG, centurion 7 inch c4 rail.

If you want an assembled upper, just pick one in the middle of the road price range with an 8" tube and a handguard you like.  For subs, you don't need more than 8" of barrel, and the short length makes the gun more maneuverable with the can.

I built mine using a AAC 9" barrel I got off from the Bay, it started with just the barrel and grew quickly.

Took my rifles shooting today.  I Love the feel of my 9 inch AAC upper, but found it hard to be consistent with 150gr ammo.  The DSG was more consistent but over gassed. I need to adjust the gas block that it comes with.  And the radiical upper functioned fine,  louder and also over gassed.  Couldn't quite get it sighted in since my optic was too low, and didn't have irons on it.

Hey, doing good friend!
Also went with the 9 inch AAC myself should have it in Wednesday. Bought it on the EE NIB today.

I need a length for a F1, will be SBRing one more. Then I'm done with SBRs.
9" + w/Magpul CTR or B5 SOPMOD?

My first can is on the way. The dealer says 4-5 month approval .
Looking like the next range trip will be an NFA meet.

Cheers

I'll have you that OAL Thursday. (CTR)

I'm also awaiting my first can (762-SDN-6).  We're gonna have fun the next time we go.
