Just filed paper for another SBR stamp in early November.

I did not e-file and don't have a trust.

How long are the turn around times on standard paper running these days...?

Form 4 (paper) on a can took just about five months for me. (Out of jail last week.)

Form 1 (e-file) on an SBR took 35 days back in September/October. Just put another one in this week. Hoping to have it by Feb 1.

F4 paper for a can took me just over 4 months, approved in early November.

F1 efiled for an SBR took me 5 days (!).

YMMV.

My last one was 42 days, but I believe the Thanksgiving holiday was a factor too. Stamp prior to that was 32 days. I am at 15 days and waiting on my current stamp.

Any idea why a form 1 e-file is under a month and paper is 8-10 months..?

Because there are prob 10x more paper form 1 and 4's than eform 1's.

Instead of wading through anecdotal data, much of which is people sharing stuff that doesn't apply, just check in here:

NFA Tracker

You can get the best data for your situation, just check/uncheck the correct boxes.

Back in October.  I screwed up my first submission, filed a new, correct F1, emailed Ted Clutter, and got instant gratification.
