Well this has been a fun build. Here is my first SBR and yes it will be suppressed. Haven't decided on optics yet so feel free to throw out what you would recommend. Added EOTech EXPS-2 and Primary Arms 3x Magnifier. Will mostly be a fun range gun but may get some occasional hunting use. I'll get some better pictures once I'm 100% done. Updated pictures. I'm very happy so far. What do you guys think?

How in the world did you build a rifle with no sights for $2,300? Is that stamp included or did you buy everything at MSRP?
My $2,000 build is KAC Lower, BCM ELW upper, and Aimpoint t2-2moa in a Larue mount. Build looks great, and if you're happy with it for that price, more power to you. |

sights or sights & a red dot & you will be GTG
sights: i'd recommend either Troy battlesights (w/ or w/o tritium ) or Magpul MBUS Pro's red dot Aimpoint: T1, T2 of M4s |

overall, very nice but i gotta ask...why a magnified optic for a subsonic suppressed rifle? its 300bk subsonic best inside 100yds?

Well its probably going to be 4-6 months before I get my hands on a suppressor so I'm going to be putting it through its paces until then with supers. 3x magnification works for me when I want to reach out to 100+. Its a Primary Arms magnifier and flip to side mount that I got on sale so it didn't add much cost ($140 for both). Makes sense in my crazy mind. YMMV

Great. I am in the middle of my 300blk build and I am going with Rainier Arms UltraMatch 8.5 300BLK barrel and Syrac Adj Block (in case I have to open up the port on barrel)
Cant wait to see how it shoots. |
