Decided to do an AR SBR to go with my PAP M92 I just got the stamp back for last week.

ALG-QMS trigger
AERO upper receiver
VooDoo Tactical 11.5" barrel w/ a 1/7 twist
Spikes BCG
MagPul CTR, grip, trigger guard, & MBUS set in Stealth Gray
PSA stealth lower with low shelf and no rollmark
Troy/VTac 11" rail
YHM gas block and tube
Standard buffer
YHM QD brake (for future suppressor)

Everything from Primary Arms,  DSG, PSA, & JoeBobs..

Opinions or tips??

Solid parts list, but you may need a H or H2 buffer in the end...

Looks good and I'll agree with ALPaul.  H2 buffer has worked perfectly with my two 10.5s.

That 11" rail may be a tad long for an 11.5" barrel if you plan on running a QD suppressor like the YHM. Generally you want at least about a full inch between the end of the rail and the end of the barrel.

This was the only sticking point.. I won't know till I build it for the pistol lower I have to check it.

I have an H buffer sitting here just in case...

I'm sure YHM will be able to tell you if that configuration will work, might save you some trouble and expense. You might consider a 12.5" barrel or a different rail that comes in at 10"-10.5".

The Troy 11" is good by about 1/4"

This is the mock up without the barrel nut being tightened down..

Shows the collar is clear from the front of the rail for about 3/16" (this is with the YHM QD all the way down on the barrel threads)

This shows the 1/8" gap because the barrel nut is not snugged so the rail is not touching the upper as of yet..

So I am guessing about 1/4" of the collar will be exposed which means the 11" Troy will work on the 11.5" barrel and have clearance for my incoming YHM M2
