OK, so in this thread I told all of you folks about how I submitted a F1 with a misspelled trust name.
That F1 was submitted 9/29/14. It came back Disapproved on 10/3/14. I emailed with Ted Clutter during the interim. On 10/4/13 I "resubmitted" the F1 (new application in reality). Today, just now, on a lark I log into eForms to see what's going on, and lo and behold, there's an Approved in there! Submission date, 10/4/14. Approved date 10/6/14. TWO DAYS!! Or, considering the original application, EIGHT DAYS!!! Now, the PDF I downloaded from eForms for this has DRAFT watermarked across it; what's that mean? Is it "official" with DRAFT on it? |

Sure looks that way. But what's this with DRAFT watermarked on every page of the form? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

So by fucking up you jumped in line? Bastard. Sure looks that way. But what's this with DRAFT watermarked on every page of the form? You're not quite in the clear. It's a known defect...happened to every one of mine so far. Send an email to [email protected] with "EForms DRAFT watermark" as the subject. Provide your control number, serial number and the applicant name. Then just a sentence saying your approved form has the Draft watermark. They'll reissue your Approved form, probably tomorrow. Date will change to the current date, and you may even have a different examiner. Technically you're approved. I just wouldn't want my copy to have the DRAFT watermark. (You can follow the same process using Ask The Experts if you prefer. |

I submitted a F1 on 9/12/14
I have nothing yet Im disappointed. |

Submitted for my first ever NFA item on 9.15 and nothing yet. This last 3 weeks has been a horrible waiting experience. I can't imagine what the next 4-5 months on my suppressor is going to be like.
|
|
I've waited over a year for some of mine.... You learn to be patient, and submit a bunch of forms... So some are getting approved all the time.

View Quote Exactly.. some of you guys are moaning about 3 weeks? or a few months? Wowwwww... It's probably a good thing that the wait takes that long.. otherwise I'd be full-in-debt over NFA purchases if I believed that they had a quicker turn-around time. |
|
Well, the fine folks at NFA branch got my approved F1 de-watermarked today.
From start to finish (including the original mis-spelled form) getting this stamp took 10 whole days. Amazing. Don't even have a short upper yet! |

NICE! The wait is killing me..still waiting on a 9/4 submission for my UMP45 and now a new submission on 10/10 for a Mk18 Mod1.

My forms have all taken over 9 months. Complaining about a few weeks is crazy talk.
|
|
I submitted a form 1 efile on 8-10 and got it approved in 19 days. I submitted after getting the approval and this one has been pending a month and a half so far. Oh well.
Edit. Just got approved this morning. you guys should be soon I'm thinking. |

The fuck?
I efiled my first Form1 on 9/23 and I haven't received anything back yet. |

Well, I guess my life isn't all unicorns and rainbows; I do have a F4 pending since 7/7 for a can.
BUT, my 11.5 upper will be here THURSDAY if UPS does their part. |

Not a biggie though compared to waiting for my Class 3 SOT back. I just sent that out Friday.. :) |

I wouldn't be surprised if 5 to 6 weeks becomes the new norm. Still pretty damn fast. |

You might be right, but I would speculate that there are WAY more people wanting silencers than SBR/SBS, etc, and the paper forms suck ass. Again, just a wild guess, but I think we're GTG with these 30-ish day Form 1 trusts. Some under, some over, but none are taking 60 days or anything crappy. Unless things start trending upward, and in a hurry, we might we looking at these time frames for a while. Get 'em while they'er hot! |

I'm cool with 5-6 weeks. My first was a 4 month paper form and that's still being spoiled compared to the 9-12 months they were. Of course I prefer 30 days though...

Just got my approval email a minute ago! Submitted 9/15/2014 and approved 10/20/2014.

My neighbor efiled on 9/12 and got his email stamp yesterday (10/20). What is that, 38 calendar days or something? Not bad.

My very first E-stamp got emailed with "Draft" watermark but when I downloaded it the next day it did not have it. Every E-stamp since (3 more) were mailed correctly.
