I just received two lowers back from CS223 for engraving. They look absolutely fantastic. The lowers are Seekins Precesion lowers and the engravings look factory made. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the work performed.

Will have to PM him about my next. How is the depth compare to Idents work. (I know both are legal depth, just curious is one is deeper)
Thanks |

Does he engrave other firearms (mp5k/cz vz61/rossi 92/etc), or just AR lowers? I have a few projects (some AR, some not) that I would like to send out together to get engraved.

Sorry if this question has been asked but....
Must the lower be stripped when sent to CS223? A question for a pap m 92, can we mail the entire rifle in this case? |

View Quote For AR, I sent fully assembled lower. I just took out buffer and spring. Engraved on right side above hammer pin. For Pap, I took out the bolt, bcg, and spring to save on shipping. He has an ffl, so you can ship to him. |

I had two AR lowers and a PAP M92 done. A+++++++ Where did they engrave it for you? Do you have a pic?? Engraved on right side above existing CAI engraving. No pictures, but looks like the other pictures in this thread. It looks factory. I cannot recommend enough. The Pap engraving was more expensive. IIRC, $60 for PAP, $35 for AR. |

This is why I like the technical forums - do good work, it is recognized! I'm currently picking out a couple more lowers to send off for engraving. Will post more pics when I get them.

Just got two items back from cs223. 1 week from mailing them out to receiving. Communication was amazing and pictures wouldn't do the engraving justice, level and extremely clean. I highly recommend him. This was my first dealing, all due to feedback I read here, and I will be sending all future items to him to engrave. One of mine had been engraved by someone else and I was not pleased with it so I sent it to him to see if he could fix the other persons job. cs223 emailed back and forth with me over the day Saturday discussing options once he was able to look it over, and what he thought would look best. And by Sunday night I had a tracking number.
Thanks again. |

Another pat on the back to CS223. I shipped to him in FL from KY last Friday 10/3/14 at 3:45
Received lowers back today At 10:00am today. That's right at 5 1/2 days. Wow!!!!!!!! Thanks to CS223 Griderhill |

Sent him two this morning. I've only used Orion before, I'm a little surprised he didn't have an order form with more detail about what needs to happen, what I need to send, things like that. It just seems like Orion had a whole checklist. I guess that's what email is for.

Building another SBR. Will be utilizing his workmanship due to all the compliments here. Can't wait to see his work.

I've seen quite a bit of CS223's work over the years and can honestly say I've never heard a bad word uttered about it, or him.
He's a true craftsman and one of the nicest people you could ever meet. |

Just an FYI...I was checking with CS223 about getting a PS90 engraved, and he gave me the following info:

^^So what was the word on the ps90?
Referred a non arfcom buddy. Hopefully should be sending a lower or 3 in the next few months Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

He's done dozens of them. No problem. Just costs a little more ($50 vs $35) due to setup time. His description: CS223
I've engraved dozens of PS90's I normally do them on the LH side on the area just above the cocking slide, single line. They run $50 due to the extra setup time involved. I also engraved a PS90 case half for a customer. I did it right below the FN egraving on the LH side. It was his choice, the case did have the s/n ID plate. |

I tried sending a PM and email the other day. Hopefully he responds back soon so I could get the ball rolling on a few projects that have been held up due to not having a local engraver.

I had him engrave my SLR104 after a local guy completely botched the job. His shop is a couple hrs away from me so i dropped it off and had it back in less than a week. He did an awesome job and i wish i had gone to him in the first place.

just got mine back from him. GREAT work. Its truly amazing. 7 day turn around time.
couldn't be happier. |

My PS90 was delivered to him this past Monday...hoping to see it early next week. I'll post a pic, as I haven't seen an example of his work on that firearm before.

Ship a KAC lower on Wednesday, hopefully a quick turn around has me shooting my SBR by the end of this week!

I sent them in to him 3 weeks ish ago and got them back 2 weeks ish ago. The work was just as good as Orion but without the wait and less expensive shipping. He communicates well and quickly. |

I plan on sending him a couple to engrave as well. Good prices and quality.

CS223 is local to me, I ran my Umbrella lower out to him the other day and had it back in a couple of days. His work is top notch and he is a pleasant guy to deal with. +1 from me.

he did a great job on my lower, turned it around in 8 days from when I shipped it out priority mail to when I had it back in hand
cost $50 bucks (labor + return shipping) +1 from me |

I shipped off 8 firearms last week to CS223. Patiently waiting so the fun can begin.

Sent off my Noveske lower on Oct.31st and I already got it back today. Great work and unbelievably fast!!

Another +1 for CS223.
Had a lower engraved by Ident and one by CS223 I can't tell the difference between the two. Good guy to work with and a fast turn around/shipping. I'll be going back to CS223 for future engravings. Thank you CS223!! |

Sent CS223 a pm a few days ago, does anyone have another form of contact for him?

Awesome about being in Florida; need to get my Vector V-94 engraved before I put the stock on it.

Sent lower receiver to CS223 Monday 11/10 with an expected delivery date of 11/12. Hope to have it back next week.
CS223 has been super easy to communicate with and I look forward to getting my first SBR together. Thanks all who posted in this thread. Good work and customer service truly wins the day. As it sits now, all future engraving work will be headed to him. |

I'll be sending a lower receiver tomorrow for engraving. Cant wait to get this whole process over with as this will be my first SBR. The waiting is going to kill me!

You guys are working me like a red-headed step child. View Quote You're welcome. (At least it's not a free service you're offering) It's just proof of what my dad tried to tell me years ago. Start a business, provide a quality good or service with consistently good customer service, and you'll have people lined up at the door. And as a red-headed step child myself, welcome to the club. |

CS223 has also engraved all my SBR's along with all my friends..definitely top notch and quick quality work.

Sent 4 recievers out last week. I'll update when I get them back.

Tagscribe, looking at SBR'ing a couple more lowers myself. An ARFCOMer that does obviously good work gets my business any time.
