Shooting my SBR is fun

After getting my stamp and the last few parts installed I popped its cherry

I got the buffet weight etc right the first time
No gas issues

And it ate Silver Bear WPA and steel match no problem

Just beautiful

Thanks for all your technical help

Even with an Aimpoint!!

My first RDS I was shooting bowling pins at 40 yards with my arms extended head high. Place the dot on the pin and it jumped.

Very awesome

Both my rifles are that way

I got some real good deals on parts

My other rifle is simple also

My big expense was the lower

I live in CT so at the time I had to get a pre1994 lower to have some features

Yeah it is.
Building the upper enabled me to customize for my needs.
I broke both my wrists over the years. The AFG and the Mod 0 grip allow me to reduce fatigue by putting my hands at the right angle.

I got the Troy stuff cheap. For the price of the RIS II I was eyeballing, I purchased the rail, front sight, PG, AFG.
The stock is a TI 7. $35 from Amazon open  box warehouse.
ARMS 40L for $50 on EE.
BC is a Young ion bonded $75 NIB
FN bolt $50 NIB
11.5" barrel was $150  I'm trying to remember the manufacturer, they supplies Spikes. Not FN, Barrel or Battle tech or something like that.

Most from the EE some from internet sales. I mean I paid ridiculous cheap for some stuff.
The receiver extension with spring and H2 was $25!

Good job on including the toes in your shot.  No rifle shot is worth it's salt without some toes.

Yeah that suppressor thing...
I'm doing research, saving money, looking into local C3 dealers

The stamp time for this SBR was 9 months I can only imagine what it is for a can.

Yeah Arfcom pics toes are mandatory

Nothing special about the carbine but if you got questions just ask.

It started as an Oly arms Hbar A2. I sold of everything but the LR and FCG. Took a big bite out of the cost.
Complete rifle was $930 shipped,  barely fired. I think I got about $650 for the upper and leftover parts and accessories, so not bad.
Check prices for a preban lower in CT now a days.

ETA: holy crap I just saw one in EE for $950!!!
