Anyone ran a PSA 10.5 inch upper? Was looking at it for a new build. Main question is do they have the gas system timed correctly for the short barrel, also how does it handle steel cased ammo?

Thanks for any help.

My PSA upper just passed the 1k mark and I haven't had any issues yet. This was purchased back in Sept 2011. So far I tried a mix of prvi 62 grn fmj, some old surplus Guat 55 grn, federal and my reloads. The last 200 rounds or so have been suppressed using the AAC 762sd and other than some gas in my face it still shoots fine. The only change I made to the upper was the addition of the DD MK18 RIS FSP and the AAC brake. It's probably worth noting that I'm using the rguns nib bcg.

I hope this helps.

I'd build one up with a WAR upper from PSA if you're looking to go suppressed.

Sweet. I'm between this PSA 10.5 and a BCM 11.5 when my stamp gets in... Going to be torn between the two.
