A few changes (again ). Finally received the RM04 after a year of it being on backorder. Also installed a BAD-ASS selector and trying out the MFT grips.

Upper looks to be a Vltor MUR and the lower looks to be a POF based on the trigger guard.

Yeah, Mission First Tactical. I decided to buy the grip and VFG with their 35% off sale last week to see how they were. Still up in the air on the evaluation-their polymer seems to not be quite as tough as Magpul or TangoDown-I may be mistaken, as I often am (at least what the majority of the females in my life tell me ).

I had to clip off the tab that they mold on the pistol grip to fill the space in between the grip and trigger guard in order to get it to work with the integrated trigger guard with my lower (as it will have to be done with any lower with a Magpul trigger guard as well).

My last two Form 1s, and my first 10/22 SBRs...

The black one is still very much a "work in progress," but I'm quite happy with the silver one and that is probably the configuration in which it will stay.

Nice!! I have a 10/22 Takedown in the shop that is just taunting me to cut down and drop a Sparrow on.

What are the specs of your two toys?

Well, the receivers are both from older 10/22s (the first two I ever owned, in fact) and, after having them engraved with our trust info, I had them both refinished in Cerakote H (THREAD).

The black one is very much still a work in progress. Since the AGP side-folding stock (which I like, BTW) is already shorter and lighter than the other one, I want to try a shorter/lighter bbl on that one and see if I like it better. I also have installed the internal upgrades and extended mag-release on that one yet, and it needs a RDS optic of some type (I already put a robust rail on top). It will evolve over time until it feels just right.

The silver one I am very happy with as-is, probably going to leave it just like that. I've already done some upgrades and it sits in an old Butler Creek stock from which I removed about 1/2" of the bottom of the PG (it just looked and felt too big/bulky to me on the SBR) and then contoured the new bottom edge to match and use the original rubber plug underneath –– it feels great now. The bbl is a factory unit that I had cut back to 12", threaded, and the front sight relocated. I shot it some this weekend and love it like this, probably going to leave it irons-only. I'll shoot it some more this weekend with other loads and with each of my rimfire suppressors, just to ensure reliability, but so far I love it. Then all it will need is a simple, lightweight sling of some sort (studs are already in place, so I'll start out trying some of the various QD slings I already have lying around).
