Reading comprehension is your friend.

With that said, I don't fully agree that them giving the instructor permission is the same as giving some random ass guy permission blasting "tacticool" selfies with their domes in the background in an open random forum...

You may take it lightly (read: immaturity), but some people do have professional lives and would rather not have their identities shown in places like this.

I think it's an option if you buy through silencerco, but mine didn't as I already had one and opt'd out of the extra (more money).  What's weird is my 7.62 SD did come with one though and I didn't select that I wanted one.  I bought them one day apart so I don't understand the reasoning one came with it and the other didn't.

No shit
I think AAC didn't originally include a muzzle device but I thought they started to become more competitive price wise

Some people are making their living surrounded by a world that is reflective of a "place like this" and are very professional individuals. Maybe some of the guys that were in the background of those very images are trying to network and create contacts in the community and a "place like this" is a perfect outlet that they may very well pursue. Furthermore, if the instructor has permission from those individuals to post pictures on his site, they are already out there, so there's really no difference.

Took the SR-5 out today for a quick run, got stuck just shooting at the traditional lanes (1 shot per 2 seconds, pistols only unless suppressed), but at least I was able to run a few mags through it.  I was really impressed with it, it's light (for a rifle sup) and short.  Sound was good (sorry no video), had a few other shooters to my side wondering what that weird sound was, haha! I'd buy another one if the rest of my rifles didn't already have the 51T muzzle device.

Since this is a pic thread...

Ridiculously expensive and fragile. I put one together the other day, about 200 lbs of badass ceramic but then a made in china rinky dink little stand with cheap wheels that I would not trust. My custom stainless grill in my outdoor kitchen works just fine. Cool concept and it works, just not my kind of cooker. I will vicariously through my neighbor when he cooks with the egg.

Both of your hand-stops are backwards.  If used at the muzzle end of the hand-guard, they will curve towards the shooter to prevent one's hand from slipping forwards, in front of the barrel.  If mounted closer to the magazine well, they will curve forwards, towards the muzzle, to provide one's hand with a hand-stop when pulling the rifle into one's shoulder.  As is, they are just adding weight.

Some people place their pointer finger in front of the hand stop with the remaining fingers behind it and the thumb on the top rail. Whatever works brah

What color?  Hard to tell from pics.

Honestly, I'm not quite sure.

I paid for a tungsten job and didn't get it

I like it more than the standard tungsten.

Just a video of my SBR when I took it out to the range to try out the SR-5.  Ended up melting part of the table (can see it on the silencer), haha!

I'm really liking the combo of the SBR, the BFS trigger and the SR-5, it has certainly become one of my go to guns, haha!

I don't know how to post the video in here.

Finally got the Specwar brake mounted. Debating putting an Aimpoint up top, but I kind of like it simple like this.

Looks very clean and simple, I like it.

ETA: How do you like the LaRue rear sight? And does it have the A1 aperture?

Thanks! I like it a lot. I haven't spent any time at the range with it yet, but plan on it soon. It's extremely solid though, so no surprise there. I opted out of the QD function, so price-wise it was very comparable with the fixed DD rear sights, which I was also considering.

It's actually an A2 aperture that comes standard with it.

Which ACOG is that?  Love the setup...and I normally don't like the mix of FDE parts.
