I'm currently debating what I'm going to do with an SBR lower (a IC-PSD kinda clone in .300 BO [or 5.56], or a Mk18 Mod 0, or something) and your gun might go on "the list". |

Just wondering where the 7" would hit. I'm looking at options for my own SBR build and also don't want a lot of barrel sticking out. |

EDIT: I think it is how the Larue CCO mount/optic sits on the upper. |

My rifle was too long, so I spent $200 and waited 6 months to make it shorter. Then it was too loud, so I spent another $200 and waited another 6 months to make it quieter. This made it longer again.

Are you using an adjustable gas block under it, by chance? I'm with you on the CMR. Ever since I first saw it I thought it was the best looking rail on the market. The fact that I love the functionality is a huge bonus because that comes first in my mind. I am using an adjustable gas block. It's a Syrac Ordnance. It functions great but is almost touching the rail on the bottom. I don't think it normally would but it lines up right where one of the screw inserts are so it's reinforced at that spot on the inside. This is a 10.5" Noveske with carbine gas if that helps. |
