Aw shucks

It likes it just fine. I did swap a Geissele buffer spring with their H3 buffer into it just so it didn’t beat itself to death. My 10.5” has a SLR adjustable GB that I also really like. Whichever way you want to go with mitigating the back pressure.

Thanks! It used to look a lot better. It's been moved around a lot and shot a little bit. It's really easy to do. I think there's a recent post in the refinishing forum explaining how it's done. I should bite the bullet and just make a youtube video. Anyway...

1. Basecoat sand
2. use painters tape to form diamond templates and place them equidistantly over the areas you want to be lighter
3. spray exposed areas with dark brown
4. lay mesh over dark brown parts and spray with sand
5. remove mesh and spray edges of diamonds with black
6. remove painters tape and put mesh over sand basecoat and dust *just the sand basecoat areas* with dark brown

Done.
