@Lead-slinger It is a VSeven rail. Not a can, Its the Wilson Combat Rapid Thread Muzzle Break and Blast Shield. The blast shield is 1.2 in diameter. Actually have it listed in the EE.

Your SBR is setup very similar to mine...Sopmod stock, Kak Rail Covers,...looks good! What light and mount models are you using on your URX rail? Not a lot of real estate there but that one looks like it fits perfectly.

More like collar bone weld

KAC (appropriately named) Skyscraper mount. It was awkward at first. Takes a bit of low ready to ready practice if you're used to co-witness, 1/3 or even 1.93 over bore, but once you get the muscle memory down, it's a pretty quick setup. It was made for easier ADS with gas mask or NV which I don't have, but for a 8.3 inch 300 blackout build that will serve as a HD weapon where speed is desired, it works. I haven't parted with my scalarworks mount yet in case I ever want to go back to lower 1/3. The KAC completely clears the dbal and you can even use buis through the mount. ETA: Those are a couple more pros of the extreme height.
