My latest mod to a 10.5" SBR I've had for a few years. It started its SBR life as an unsuppressed LMT 10.5" upper when I dabbled in the idea of Mk18 clone. I got over that nonsense quickly. I did this first:

I did love that configuration but I got the idea of getting another 10.5" barrel and starting over. I added an adjustable gas block and now it's as smooth as a .22 rimfire.

I realize quad rails are out of fashion, especially anything Troy, but I bought that rail six years ago and it has set unused new in box ever since. This thing needs a good trigger and it will be complete. BTW, the barrel is a Green Mountain 10.5" 5.56mm and the adjustable gas block is Seekins Precision.

Two out of three ain't bad, especially when one of 'em is a head shot.

That SBR will go back to the way it was, but my next one will be a little more streamlined to keep that handy feel. Thinking 10.3 with Geissele MK8, LWRC compact stock, TA33G-H, and a Surefire mini scout. 51 tooth flash hider instead of brake so its not absolutely ridiculous without the suppressor
