FWIW, I have a 1.5 Acog in a larue mount as well, and absolutely love it.
Went to my farm to do some shooting the other night these are the toys I brought... I love my 7.5 Vseven Upper...Makes a tiny PDW...

And with troy you can't leave the small peep up while the sight is down and that is a major design flaw IMO. |
