New case for the blaster. Less than $50; feels every bit as nice as a Pelican costing 3x as much. Should be great for airline travel.

got an old wooden and partly broken violin case. Patched it together, modified it to fit my AR15 SBR and inlayed it with velvet (not very professionally, obviously)

Two images of the SBR outside the case

Xanthos SBR with 12.5" KAK 308 Win barrel and a YHM Phantom TI.  With suppressor and no scope, it weighs in right at 7lbs (not a typo).  The YHM suppressor (1.565" OD) nests inside the 2A rails (1.7" ID) nicely.  Not enough flex at the leading edge of the rails even at 6 o'clock to get the rails to touch the suppressor.  I'm happy for now- once  I get it broken in and find the right handloads for it, it will likely replace my 12.5" 6.8 as my dedicated night time pig killer and the optic will be replaced with a thermal scope.  I just need to get some handloads to shoot as well as 175 FGMM do.  I wish my dealer would have ordered the black version of the YHM.......

LOWER
2A Xanthos-Lite Large Frame Lower Receiver
2A LR-308 Ti Takedown Pins
POF 7 position 308 Receiver Extension, A2 rifle-length spring and 3 oz buffer (for now- might be tweaking to remove some weight)
Mag Pul CTR (swapping to MFT Minimalist)
SSA-E
KNS Hammer/ Trigger Pins
Hogue Grip
V7 Ti parts- more than I want to think about

UPPER
2A Xanthos-Lite Large Frame Upper Receiver
KAK 12.5” Medium Contour carbine length 416R barrel-
Syrac AGB
PRI Gas Buster CH
V7 Titanium BCG
15" 2A Xanthos handguard

How does everyone like the MVB-type stocks?  They look very handy.

Yep.  They cut down the sopmod, and it has a short tube and buffer.  Its ran flawless, and it is shorter than the LWRCI ultra compact, but quite a bit more $$$ and pretty damn hard to find.

Ever shot a suppressed SBR NTCH?  A PRI Gasbuster doesn't even help.
