SIG 552-2SP clone built from early 556 and a brand new 552 parts kit. The optics rail was removed from a 552 receiver prior to its being demilled, then rosette welded onto my 556 receiver after modifying the receiver to 552 spec. The factory 556 barrel was modified to 552 specs as well, however I opted to keep an AR15 thread pitch so I can use more abundant AR15/M4-type muzzle devices (ie AAC M42K blackout suppressor mount).

And who makes that rail assembly? And also, is the barrel threaded? It's hard to tell from the picture.

Ended up taking off the MRD that was on it since I started having problems with it, and now I think I enjoy shooting it more without it
