The receiver however is stamped as Military Armament Corp. Powder Springs, GA. USA. Are they one in the same in the eyes of BATF? So, my question now is should I use the sellers info from the form 4 he currently has or as it's stamped to make it right in the register with BATF. |

I believe if memory serves correctly, MAC Powder Springs moved to MAC Marietta GA. More info on the transition of MAC companies: http://www.mac-11.net/catalog.htm Use the sellers Form 4 data. Why? Because that data is what was approved for the transfer to the current owner and is deemed valid. Once you start changing the historical provenance data on pre-existing Form 4's, you open a can of worms. |
