THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT Im building a new longrange Rem700 aac tac .308 and have been looking at Seekins 20 moa one piece bases and low rings. Are there better options for a $800-1k scope? I will be shooting out to 500+. I know that this has been beaten to death, but i am having trouble finding solid info. |

Take a look Here for scopes in your price range. Depending on what scope you get low rings may not work.

Oh im not looking for a scope, i meant as far as rings and a base, what would be a good option for glass in the $800-1k range. The scope will be a 50mm.

Seekin's products are right up there with any other top tier brand. Depending on the contour of your barrel you may be able to get away with low rings and a 50mm objective. I prefer to mount my scope as low on the rifle as possible especially if you don't have a adjustable cheek piece. I have found a solid cheek weld on the rifle helped my shooting.
Here is a old picture of my rifle with Badger low rings, heavy varmint contour barrel and a NF NXS 3.5-15x50mm ![]() |
