THE IMAGE ABOVE IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT I'm looking at Bader Rings do I need the Standards 0.823" or Mediums 0.885"? I also looked at Larues Ultra Low Mount LT719 0.875" I'm inclined to go with the Badger mediums but think the Larue Ultra Low would be a fit also. I'm asking because I wan't to get it right the first time. Which rings did you choose for your set-up, experience? I can't wait to get this rifle set-up so I can go and shoot it. Thanks Bishop3 |

Thanks Bishop3 Good luck getting it right the first time ![]() I have a Badger 20MOA base on a Savage action. I started with the Badger standard height rings and ended with the LaRue LT719 rings ( Ultra Lows ). I changed my rings to facilitate a better cheek weld while maintaining a bright, open sight picture. Rather than trying to get it right, get close enough and adjust as you learn. Edit: I see you are in Texas! If you're in Central Texas we could meet up at Best of The West in Liberty Hill. |

With a 42mm you could go with the .82.
With a 50mm you could go with .84 |

So far its a toss up between the Larue Ultra lows or the Badger Standards then.
Thanks. Anyone else want to comment before I buy one of these? I'm on Galveston Bay. I sometimes shoot out at The Impazt Zone. |
