All original 1895 Chilean Mauser in 7x57 using the issue sights (no optics) at 100 yards using only a a bag rest under the front of the rifle. Target is the SR1 center - X ring is 1 inch.
First pic is picture through my spotting scope. Second picture is the close up when I went down range. The flyer was called, the other four shots is .5 inch. Group with flyer is under 1.25".

POA was centerd on the lower bull because the rear sight starts at 400 meters.

Here are the results of shooting at it with my TRG 42. These pictures were not taken on the same day. The day Zak took the picture through the scope I HIT THE GREEN center more

and from a couple days before with me shooting my TRG 42 at it at the same range

Here are the results of my recent range trip. I worked up some new loads for this time. All were under .5 but this was the best of the lot.

Holy crap, there are a lot of good shooters on this board!

I typically shoot 3-shot groups... now, after seeing everyone else's 5-shot groups, I'd better start practicing more. Here are some 3-shot groups I shot today at 100 yards. Rem 700, 22" Hart barrel, Leupold M1 10x scope, 168 SMK, Fed GMM brass, IMR 4895.

Groups are measured edge-to-edge.

Here are 2 pictures of groups shot from my .308. The rifle was built by a local smith here in Ohio. After plinking with my AR a decided to get the BIG BOY out. This is the first time the rifle has been out since I got it back. So the first 5 shots out were at 100yds and needed a little adjusting. After that I backed out to 300yds. This is the first time I have shot at this range so I took a guess on come ups. Not to bad about 2.5-3" high. The scope is a Leupold MK4 3.5-10X40 LR/T Mildot. So I think with more power I could get it tighter at 300. I believe I through 1 to the right at 300. The ammo is Blach Hills 168 Match. I'm very pleased with this ammo.

100yd

300yd (if I through out the flyer I'm pritty happy)
