You're driving me crazy. That's the rifle I'm lookin to buy but in .308. I cant decide whether to pick up a Rem 700 now from Bass Pro and add to it later on, or save up for another 3 months and buy the exact one I want from Mel's Sniper Page.

Here is my TBA M40a3. I have had this rifle for about 6 years now. Had some mods done on her to make it spec. This rifle shoots like a dream. Just got back from deployment. Cant wait for the weather to get a little better so I can go out and shoot her again.

Consistently shoots sub 0.4 MOA (usually between 0.25 and 0.385) with 168 BTHP over a stiff load of Varget.

I just received my Remington 700 5R Mill spec in 308 from American Precision Arms. I have to say that they do top quality work.

This is the work that I had done:

-It was coated in Flat black
-Bedded a Night vision front mount to stock
-Cut the barrel to 20"
-Threaded barrel for a suppressor
-Fat bastard muzzle break and thread protector
-Bedded rifle to stock
-Lap Lugs

Remington 700 5R Millspec in 308 custom work done by American Precision Arms. Truly the best when it comes to custom rifle work for me .

-Bedded the rifle & NV frunt mount

-Coated in flat black

-Berral cut to 20" and threated for supresser

-Lapped the lugs

-Little Basterd muzzle break

-extra thead protecter with no muzzle break
