Go to your counter top where there is a sharp 90 degree angle. Put the sear part of the striker against the counter top and push the bolt body down. When you get it down a little bit you will be able to rotate the bolt body and re cock the striker.

I bought myself a Remington 700 bolt disassembly tool... best investment ever. They got real cheap ones on ebay. You don't have to buy anodized aluminum/steel/admantium ones, the white plastic one with mystery metal claw works.

Put the bolt body in a padded vise and then rotate.
