I had my P26 apart and the mil spec hammer, trigger, disconnect group for an AR15 fit perfect in the receiver. I did not try the safety but it looks like
it will function just fine, I was running out of time because I had to drop off the pistol at the engraver. Just to be clear, I AM NOT A CERTIFIED ARMORER
for B&T, I did this out of curiosity. I had to use the pins from the P26 group and the spacers that are on either side of the hammer pin.
I plan on taking this to a qualified gunsmith before I do any further testing, more than likely I will use 9mm hammer spring as well.
Please do not attempt any of this unless you are a qualified gunsmith, this is for informational purposes only. Also, I have a self contained
trigger group with 3.5 pull and it will not work, not enough clearance without surgery.
