 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D43ZeYu9dnMCut rifling is still used in plenty of BR grade barrels. Look up 'sine bar rifling machine.' There are still plenty of Pratt & Whitney ones running around. Some need more work that others. |

Nothing wrong with a good button rifled barrel. In fact, the best shooting Ar barrels I have are all button rifled ( not sure about the newer Larue stuff)

Very cool process. Interesting that the steel is hardened already before they drill the hole through it.
