Has anyone here done this? My P226 is an old West German model with the double roll pins. How hard is it to replace them?

What size roll pin punches are needed?

Get the correct pins from SIG, the correct roll pin punch and a firm backing. A few firm blows is better than a bunch of taps.
If you have put together a stripped lower correctly you have all the skills needed.

Not hard at all, I replaced the ones in my W. German 226 when I refinished the slide.  Got my pins from Top Gun Supply: http://www.topgunsupply.com/sig-sauer-p226-gun-parts/
