I recently bought a sporterized Swedish Mauser as a budget deer gun. It was a good deal but it needs some work. One thing it desperately needs is a recoil pad for the Ramline stock in which it was seated. Obviously the previous owner removed the recoil pad for another gun and left this one wanting. Does anybody know what type of recoil pad will be a drop in fit for a Ramline stock? I've never had to custom fit a recoil pad so I'd rather find something that is plug and play, so to speak, rather than spend time cutting and fitting something.
