got a mac11 that runs fine, but sometimes slings the e-clip off the hammer pin, and locks the gun up tight.

this is a pic of the pin, secured by the e-clip

is there a way to make a captured pin, 2 piece, with a pin head that threads into the side where the e-clip would go?

A competent machinist should be able to deepen the e clip groove enough to get a good bite. If that fails then drill/tap the end of the pin for the two piece idea. The pin would have to be annealed first though.
Or just contact Masterpiece Arms for a new pin.
