I posted this in the rimfire pistols section and didn't get any hits so I thought I'd put it here too...

So my "dream" 22/45 is coming together. This morning I did a function check and it's A-OK, so once I get a couple more parts, it's off to Kinghouse.

Now, the upper is a MkII that isn't D&T'd and I have the adjustable rear sight. I'd like a rail that's short enough that it won't hang over the barrel, and I don't want to remove the rear sight. Will the TacSol fit that bill? What thread pitch would be recommended?

I also want to replace the front sight with a HiViz fiber optic. Which one to go with?
