Does anyone know if this pusher can be used on this gun? I know I can use it on a standard XD but wasn't sure on the XD(m) . If someone could tell me which block position to use I'd appreciate it as well as if it has the muscle to remove and re-install the sights.

I personally have heard many of them being broke changing front sights on xd's but if you did than it may be able to do an xdm because I heard they weren't as bad.

I may have worded that incorrectly. I have only used it to adjust a rear sight on an XD but in the documentation for the pusher it lists the XD so I just ASSumed that it would work. Breaking the pusher doesn't sound like something I want to risk really.

The documentation is just a guide. So long as you can fit the slide into the pusher correctly it should work. That said, if it won't move with hand torque then it's not going to move with the pusher. Of the 2 USIT's that I have seen broken both had wrenches on the screw to turn it. I've ended up having to mill out most of XD front sights I've run across.

That's good to know. I pretty much told the guy I didn't want to break my pusher just for him. That is why I stick to Glock.......they don't put their sight's in with stupid amounts of force like some other manufacturers do.

Make no mistake, the USIT can take a hell of a lot more abuse than most other pushers on the market so fragile they are not but there is a limit. After trying to move my first XD sight with it and having it not move I went up a notch and made a custom punch out of 1/2 drill rod machined to fit the dovetail perfectly. I chucked the slide into the mill vice and smacked it with a 2lb hammer. Didn't even touch it so I loaded up a 1/8 mill and buzzed it down the middle, took out the pieces and properly installed the replacement. Done several this way now and tell customers up front that it's going to cost $50 to swap out OEM sights on an XD.
