Please post your links to used machinery dealers that you have done business with in your area.

I was tasked with setting up a small shop on a tight budget 3 years ago and discovered what a PITA it was to find decent used equipment.

After pounding my head on the wall for a couple weeks , driving around from seller to seller looking at rusty junk with questionable history , i discovered :

Brothers Machinery Exchange (BMEX)
105 Massachusetts Avenue
North Andover MA 01845

BROTHER'S MACHINERY EXCHANGE

These guys had piles of decent machinery , priced right . Everything was checked out by them and guaranteed . Very clean , and in great condition . We ended up spending around $15,000 there picking up two lathes , a Bridgeport, a drill press , surface grinder , hydraulic press , vices, tooling, measuring equipment, surface plate ,etc, etc.
They deliver and set-up as well and the owner is a helluva nice guy ta boot.

I like these guys.

Hoff-Hilk

I don't buy from the rest of the used machinery dealers around here.
I started with nothing, and I still have most of it left.

While I have never purchased from them the first race team I worked for was owned and sponsored by C.W. Wood Machinery located in Cincinnati, OH. Good guys and lots of machine tools.

These guys have some used equipment (drill presses, arbor presses, lathes, measuring equip), but they have a huge inventory of metal, plastics and tooling. Mill bits by the hundreds..I hate going there and try to avoid it..........Link Ineed, I want , I need......
