It seems the gen2/3(if you count the original metal receiver as gen1) 2000's are more available now. Compared to the past. I wonder if its because of Scorpions and MPX flooding the market these days. That's a great price I could see getting a .40 caliber to go with my glock.

They are slightly easier to find in general, but they are still very scarce. Many dealers can only get about 1-2 per month if they have a solid relationship with their distributor. The prices haven't gone down at all on these. They used to be $299 for the Gen 1s and I got my Gen 2s for $349. But most people are selling them for $400-450.
