Just bought a 4595 hipoint. What kind of mods have people come up with?

Tower Armory is coming out with a bullpup stock later this year.

Redball is rolling out their hicap mags in .45

There's several vendors selling clamp on muzzle devices or replacement charging handles. Or an aluminum replacement for the top picatinney rail.

The High Point Firearms forum has a section just for carbines, best source of info on aftermarket goodies.

Only mods I've done to mine were to remove the iron sights and add a reflex sight, and I covered the cheek rest pad in moleskin. May upgrade the charge handle too, but I cut a small piece of fuel line hose and slipped it on the handle, feels much better and doesn't ad any weight to the bolt.

I was having some issues with my mags feeding steel cased Wolf .45, so I replaced one of my factory mag spring with a 1911 10 round mag spring (got mine from Brownells).  Lost a round of capacity but the stronger spring is running that steel cased stuff fine. This was all done before Redball came out with their hicap .45, which I'd bet probably runs steel case just fine.

Also, there's an aftermarket mag catch replacement that lets you run 1911 mags, or the Korean 1911 28 rnd drum mag. And Tower says their bullpup stock will (maybe) have a 1911 mag option as well.

Thanks! I'll probably turn my own thread adaptor for a suppressor mount. Will look for the 1911 mag catch.

Only thing I did to mine was take out the stupid fucking springs in the stock and gorilla tape it down.  On and the mag carrier thingy.  On, and I cut a rear sight notch on the top of the peep for a 175 yard zero.

Wow those redball mags are fugly. Has anyone gotten a 1911 drum to work with these?

I must say, going to need a lot more 45acp.

I had my barrel threaded and look forward to shooting it suppressed.
