So I am debating putting a BFS into a Sig MPX carbine (actually an SBR). First, I wanted to see if anyone had done this and what their rate of success was. Second, are any tweaks needed to get the system running? Third, will the removal of the factory trigger bridge cause excessive wear when running the gun in semi or simulated rapid fire? This is part of a potentially bigger project to make an integrally suppressed gun, but the BFS has me intrigued.

You will need a Gen 3 BFS to work in your MPX.

Thanks, that's what I have on the way. My big concern is really damage/wear to the bolt and receiver. I have my doubts it would be an issue, but I recall reading that the MPX uses a steel trigger bridge to mitigate damage to the 6061 Aluminum receiver caused by hammer strike. Again, anyone that's tried this?

Sig makes the MPX in full auto for LE/ Military end users, so I don't see this as being a problem.

I've ran at least 1k suppressed rounds through my mpx with the binary trigger. Don't worry about it, just go with it it and deal with whatever problems that arise as they come.

It works just fine and there are no tweaks that you can actually do if you wanted to. If you pull it as fast as humanly possible, you will have hammer follow. Just go slower.

I've only put a few hundred through mine but it has worked flawless. Install was easy with no mods needed. The only thing is I can't get the same results that I've seen on youtube. Not as fast and smooth.
