The HSGI Double Decker Taco can be adjusted to hold one 30 and one 20, its very secure too. They stagger pretty nicely with the 30 in the large pouch and the 20 in the smaller pistol size pouch.
Just an FYI for those that want to save a few bucks and not buy new pouches.

Just an FYI for those that want to save a few bucks and not buy new pouches. That's great to know too. Post a pic. I had success with my esstac ar pouches. It has full retention. It made me happy.

They are great for retention for holding the cz mags but a bitch if you need to place a mag in pouch quick. I'll try to get a photo later tonight |

So I checked today but I didn't have time to snap any pics.
They fit fine in a DD Taco, an X2R taco and an X2RP taco. I'm sure a single mag would work in a single rifle taco as well. On the DD Taco, two 30's is a bit weird because the front mag sits about an inch and a half higher that the rear mag. Personally I'd use a DD taco for a 30 in back and a 20 in front. Same goes for an X2RP taco with X2 30's and a 20. Also, a regular pistol taco works GREAT for a 20 and ok for a 30. Extended pistol taco works best with a 30. Short rifle KWYI pouches work well with a 20 and the talls work well with a 30. They will pivot from right to left fairly easily in a KWYI but they are retained well. They won't fit in a pistol KWYI. Don't have any BFG MP7 pouches but we do have some of the M4 pouches. They fit pretty well in those but just like Esstac, they won't fit the pistol pouches. |

Scorpion mags definitely fit nicely in my BFG triple shingle made for the MP7.

They just added 2" to the length of a pistol taco for the extended version. They should both work fine though!

Seriously, thanks for posting the comparison pictures. Some of the pouches were a little too spend to acquire and hope they fit.
On a side note, the CZ USA pouches are not terribly sexy but work pretty well. I like the 30rd pouch design better than the 20 rd. Both attach to molle pretty well. |
