The mags don't latch. I tried every mag unloaded and tried with the bolt back and bolt forward. I'm assuming it's material where something doesn't like it but don't know where

I would check the depth of the catch to see if it's deep enough.

On the latching side they are the same on the non latching side its slightly shallower. Im thinking maybe the top feed ramp lip is slightly slightly longer like .01 according to the calipers.

I have noticed the same issue with my magpul mags, but in a different platform. While they function properly in my glock 17, they do not latch in my QC10 SBR. Not trying to thread Jack here, just wanted to say that I too have noticed the differences with the magpul mags
