Anybody have first hand experience with these?
I've owned MAC clones in the past and normally wouldn't touch another with a ten foot pole. However, I see that Lage Manufacturing offers a carbine upper assembly for semi auto MAC's and I'm considering building one into a carbine/SBR.
Any thoughts?

Do they have bad trigger slap?

I own the MPA930DMG, which is a Mac clone that accepts Glock mags. Very happy with the quality and performance and zero trigger slap. Suppresses well, too.

As a child of the 80's, I've always wanted a Mac.  Missed out on buying an open-bolt one for $500 back in the mid 2000s.  Might as well have been a $1,000,000 with how broke I was.

I want the new Uzi Pro, but the price, new magazines, and polymer lower completely turned me off of buying one.

That said,  I want MPA's M11-9SA!!!  Boxy 80's radical-awesomeness!!!

Has anyone had feeding issues with surplus Sten magazines?  It seems like now is the time to buy Sten mags as the price keeps going up and the quality goes down. Those Tapco magazines don't look too durable.

I gad one of their 45s a few years ago. Worked just fine and was built like a tank.

The trigger slap problems came primarily from 16" barrels . . . I guess a faster moving bolt would slam against the hammer in turn slamming into the sear plate thus giving the trigger slap problem.

They have a 2-piece hammer thing now.

I had one of the 57sst aside from the crazy cost for 5 seve N mags it was great. The Glock magwell mpa has a great grip compared to the 57sst.
