Going by Sig's track record with rifles lately I wouldn't hold your breath for a carbine or any other stuff promised for that matter. (Barrel conversions etc.)

I spoke to SIG rep at the NRA Annual meeting in Nashville. He said they should be coming out in the fall. Personally I wouldn't look for them until probably spring of 2016 at the earliest. I too am looking for a Carbine version as I have already put my name on the list at local gun shop.
